Every design belongs to a customer
Designs sit in a folder per customer, with the address alongside and photos of the existing room attached. A bathroom from two years ago is findable without anyone remembering a file name.
Search by name, customer or address
One field that searches all three at once, plus filters on customer and on status. If there is a second bathroom at the same address, the first one is still there.
Favourites and an archive
What comes back often goes into favourites and sits at the top. What is finished goes to the archive: out of the working list without being gone.
See what is with whom, and for how much
Three groups side by side: shared and with the customer, approved and waiting on an order, and ordered. Each group shows the number of designs and the amount they add up to.
Which share links are open
Per customer you see which view links and edit links are running and when they expire. A view link keeps working; an edit link lasts a week.
A design that ends up in a folder on a desktop after the meeting is not a quote any more, it is a file.
